Mrs. Chu, Chairperson of CIFA reported the background of 3A Project 2010, while Ms. Agnes Ng, Convenor
of the Working Group on 3A Project explained the details of the 3A Project 2012. Ms. Daphne Lo and Judy
Chan from Hong Kong Family Welfare Society (Hong Kong Eastern Centre), the gold award winner of 3A
Project 2010, shared their experience in the competition. Ms. Amy Leung Oi Mui, Vice Chairman of Family,
Community and Youth Committee, Wofoo Social Enterprises, the key sponsor for the Project, believed that
3A Project 2012 will continue to promote exchange of knowledge and experiences of professionals and
ultimately contribute to the sustainable development of family well-being in Asia. The DVD on 3A Project
was distributed on the occasion.

In CIFA e-newsletter Issue 65, we introduced Prof. Ng Man Lun’s book “至性情書@3033” (Prof. Ng is one of the CIFA Research and Training Committee members) to you all. In this issue, we would like to have a further sharing with you.
The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd), one of the CIFA members, will be introducing a Master of Education programme (Med) – “School-Based Family Counselling” in this coming September.
We are please to share with you an exciting conference organized by a CIFA member in HK.
The 3rd Asian Pacific Problem Gambling and Addictions Conference 2011 organized by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and Division on Addictions, Cambridge Health Alliance and a Teaching Affiliate of Harvard Medical School, was successfully held on 2 to 3 June 2011 with pre-conference workshop on 1 June and Macau visit on 4 June 2011.
The first-ever Foster Care Festival hosted by Mother’s Choice in Hong Kong from May 18-21 was well received by the participants. There were 44 social workers, 145 foster family members and 52 adoptive family members attending the 4-day program.
