2013年1月13日星期日，CIFA与美国家庭治疗学会（AFT）联合举办的“Walk for Family Wellbeing 2013”筹款活动在晴朗温暖的天气下顺利举行，超过200名参与者和志愿者参加 。

步行活动以面部彩绘、扭气球、非洲鼓表演、转盘、热身等嘉年
華活動拉開序幕，隨後是啟動儀式。

CIFA is going to co-oranize a fund-raising Walk for Family Well-being 2013 with the Academy of Family Therapy(AFT) on 13th (Sunday) January,2013 in the moring with a kick-off ceremony to be officiated by Mr.Patrick NIP Tak Kuen,Director of Social Welfare, at the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association Sandilands Centre. The route will be along the Blcak’s link to Wanchai Gap Park.

Further to the visit to Soochow University and Suzhou Mental Health Association in Suzhou in June, contacts have been maintained with concerned personnels of the University to confirm their involevement in organizing the 4th Regional Symposium.CIFA Council has just received confirmation from the University that it has decided not ot co-organize the Symposium.The Council will go through the process of identifying other institutes/organizations in mainland China to co-organize the Symposium.

CIFA is going to co-organize a fund-raising Walk for Family Well-being 2013 (家庭健步行 2013) with
the Academy of Family Therapy (AFT) on 13th (Sunday) January, 2013 in the morning with a kick-off
ceremony at the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association Sandilands Centre. The route will be along the
Black’s link to Wanchai Gap. The objectives of this event are i.) to raise fund for CIFA and AFT; ii.) to
raise public awareness of these two charitable organizations and promote the importance of family wellbeing;
and iii.) to provide an opportunity for members, supporters and their families of CIFA/ AFT to
enjoy a relaxing walk in the country side.

A series of embroidery work mounted on paper was collected by Mrs. Patricia Chu, Chairperson of CIFA
during the visit to Suzhou in June this year. She would like to share these art works depicturing the joyful life
of children assisting their parent in the paddy field and catching dragonflies, enjoying companionship of other
children and participating in productive family activity thus providing them with a happy and fulfilled
childhood. Hope you will enjoy it!

during the visit to Suzhou in June this year. She would like to share these art works depicturing the joyful life
of children in a tug-of-war and assisting their parent in economic activities, enjoying companionship of other
children and participating in productive family activity thus providing them with a happy and fulfilled

The Interview Session of the 2nd round Adjudication scheduled on 16th and 17th August, 2012 was
successfully held with the assistance of Prof. Joyce Ma and staff from Department of Social Work, Chinese
University of Hong Kong in providing the venue and technical support.
The 2nd Round Adjudication took place smoothly, with project teams attending the interview either in
person or through video-conferencing.
