Wofoo 3A Project 2024: Extension of Deadline for Initial Submission to 10 May, 2024

Upon request of many organisations, CIFA has decided to extend the deadline for initial submission from 26 April, 2024 to 10 May, 2024. However, please note that all other event dates remain unchanged as follows:

a. Announcement of First Round Adjudication Results on 24 May, 2024
b. Deadline for submission of Project for Second Round Adjudication on 2 August, 2024
c. Second Round Adjudication Interview on 12-13 September, 2024
d. Announcement of Second Round Adjudication Results on 27 September, 2024
e. Final Round Adjudication (in Hong Kong) on 28 December, 2024
f. Award Presentation Ceremony (in Hong Kong) to be held on 29 December, 2024

Wofoo 3A Project 2022: Final Round Result Announcement

The Final Round Adjudication of Wofoo 3A Project 2022 was held on 9 November 2022 when the 8 finalist teams had survived the keen competition among 24 teams from 5 countries/regions in Asia to present their projects for competing for the Gold, Silver, Bronze Awards, My Favourite Project, Best Collaborative Award, Most Innovative Award and Bringing Hope Home Award. Eight projects have been shortlisted to enter the Final Round Adjudication of Wofoo 3A Project 2022 to be held on 9 November 2022 at the CIFA Regional Symposium & MSF Asian Family Conference 2022 in Singapore. The Award Presentation Ceremony will be held at the Gala Dinner that evening.

Shortlisted projects are required to submit a 5000 words description, including appendix and references, of the project to the CIFA Secretariat according to the set guideline either by mail or courier not later than 5:00pm on 30 May, 2022 (according to postal chop date). An interview will be arranged either on 14 or 15 July 2022. Project presenters will be interviewed either in person or on Zoom for further elaboration of their projects and clarify adjudicators’ queries. Eight projects will be selected for the Final Round Adjudication to be held during the CIFA Regional Symposium & MSF Asian Family Conference 2022 in Singapore on 9 November 2022, to be followed by the Award Presentation Ceremony at the Gala Dinner that evening.
 
A resource person will be assigned to each shortlisted team for clarification and/or information on submission and second round arrangements.

Changing Life Stories Conference Organised by Mother’s Choice

The Changing Life Stories Conference which organised by Mother’s Choice in Feb 2022, is believed to be the first-ever teenage crisis pregnancy conference in Hong Kong, gathering academic experts, healthcare and legal professionals, social workers and NGO leaders who work in the prevention and intervention of youth crisis pregnancy. This virtual event will include keynote speakers, workshops, spotlight sessions and networking opportunities to share specialised knowledge and to explore possibilities for innovative service models. The agenda is themed & centered on three key protective factors that are central to breaking the vicious cycle of teenage pregnancy: Embrace, Equip and Empower.
