The fund-raising “Walk for Family Well-being 2013” co-organized by CIFA with the Academy of Family Therapy (AFT) was successfully held under the nice and warm weather on Sunday, 13th January 2013,with over 200 participants and volunteers joining us.

The Walk started with some carnival activities including face painting, balloon twisting, African drum performance, plates spinning and warming up exercises etc, followed by the Kick Off Ceremony.

CIFA is going to co-oranize a fund-raising Walk for Family Well-being 2013 with the Academy of Family Therapy(AFT) on 13th (Sunday) January,2013 in the moring with a kick-off ceremony to be officiated by Mr.Patrick NIP Tak Kuen,Director of Social Welfare, at the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association Sandilands Centre. The route will be along the Blcak’s link to Wanchai Gap Park.

The Opening ceremony started with a lively drum performance by trainees of a training centre, followed by welcoming remarks by Mr lee Kim Siang, chairman of THK and Mrs. Patricia Chu,chariperson of CIFA.

Further to the visit to Soochow University and Suzhou Mental Health Association in Suzhou in June, contacts have been maintained with concerned personnels of the University to confirm their involevement in organizing the 4th Regional Symposium.CIFA Council has just received confirmation from the University that it has decided not ot co-organize the Symposium.The Council will go through the process of identifying other institutes/organizations in mainland China to co-organize the Symposium.
